Notes: This manual describes in detail the different types of war gas (including a brief history of chemical warfare), the recognition and treatment of gas casualties and protection against gas and air raids. Appendix III is a reproduction of the 3rd edition of 'An Atlas of Gas Poisoning'. The manual was revised in about 1942-43, when it and Air Raid Precautions Handbook No.3, 'Medical Treatment of Gas Casualties' were amalgamated to provide a single manual on the subject.
