Notes: This was the third of five Public Information Leaflets issued by the Lord Privy Seal's Office from July, 1939 to advise the British public in the countdown to war. Leaflet No.3 explained the Government's Evacuation Scheme for children, expectant mothers and the blind. 15 million copies of this leaflet were produced, with delivery to every household in Britain starting from 20 July 1939.
