Your Food in War-Time

Notes: This was the fourth of five Public Information Leaflets issued by the Lord Privy Seal's Office from July, 1939 to advise the British public in the countdown to war. Leaflet No.4 outlined how the Government had stockpiled food, the need to conserve stocks, and dstribution of food in wartime.

15 million copies of this leaflet were produced, with delivery to every household in Britain starting from 27 July 1939.
